Since early 2008,  the RPM Health Club has been open for business at the Royal Phuket Marina in Phuket, Thailand. Sports Engineering and Recreation Asia Ltd (SEARA), the developer of Cascade Club, Bangkok, has developed  the 1,000 square meter health club in the Town Square of Thailand's world class luxury lifestyle marina community. In addition to a 350 berth marina, this Baht 5.3 billion development boasts private residences, shopping facilities, cafe's, restaurants, spa and a boutique hotel (planning stage).

The club was developed by the design and planning department of Sports Engineering and Recreation Asia (SEARA) headed by David Lapedus from Australia.

"The club sets a new standard for fitness centres on the island", said Royal Phuket Marina developer, Gulu Lalvani.

Programmes include, group and private training for strength, balance and flexibility, and endurance. Group and personal instruction is also offered for Pilates, yoga, tennis and the new generation of Life Fitness cardiovascular workouts that redefine the exercise experience.

The facilities are truly state-of-the-art, featuring, three strength training zones, group exercise room, yoga and pilates studios, luxurious changing rooms, a juice bar and social areas.

RPM Health Club is managed by Seara Management Associates, specialists in the design, planning and management of sports, recreational and hospitality clubs for commercial, residential and resort projects.

The company also operates the Cascade Club Bangkok, Green Leaf Spa, and Aldo's Mediterranean Bistro and Wine Bar.

The marina has quickly established itself at the forefront of Phuket's yachting community, sponsoring the prestigious international Phuket King's Cup each December.

In partnership with The Cruising Club International, The Royal Phuket Marina Cruising Club is the first Fractional Boat Ownership Company in Thailand, offering the opportunity to own an equity percentage of a range of luxury power boats, sharing purchase and maintenance costs through syndicated ownership.

The entire US$150 million Royal Phuket Marina project is due for completion in 2010.
